Using SwipeClean

SwipeClean is a photo and video gallery cleanup app. It helps you review screenshots, photos and photo sets, similar shots, and large videos so you can decide what to keep and what to delete.

The app provides cleanup assistance. It is not a data recovery service or backup service.

Photo access and deletion

When you review items in SwipeClean, they are not deleted immediately. Items you mark for deletion go to Delete Review first. You can restore or remove items from Delete Review before final deletion.

Final deletion only happens after you confirm it. Deletion is performed through native iOS or Android media APIs. Android may show a system confirmation before deletion. On iOS, deleted items may move to Recently Deleted, depending on iOS Photos behavior.

Deletion can fail or partially fail. Items that fail to delete may remain in Delete Review so you can retry deletion or restore them from the queue.

User responsibility

You are responsible for checking items before confirming deletion. Review your selected photos and videos carefully before using the final delete action.

Cloud backups, iCloud Photos, Google Photos, gallery sync, and device backup behavior are outside SwipeClean's control. Those services may keep, remove, sync, or restore media according to their own settings.

Purchases, trial, and restore purchase

SwipeClean offers a free trial and a lifetime unlock purchase. The app does not directly process your payment card details.

Purchases and restore purchase flows are handled through the Apple App Store, Google Play, and RevenueCat. Refund requests must be made through the app store used for the purchase.

App availability and changes

We may update or change SwipeClean as the app improves or as operating systems and app store requirements change. Some features may depend on your device, permissions, operating system, app store account, or network connection.

No recovery guarantee

SwipeClean cannot guarantee that deleted items can be recovered. Some deleted items may be recoverable through operating system features such as Recently Deleted or through backup systems, but SwipeClean does not control those features. Depending on your device, settings, and backup services, deletion may be permanent.

Limits of responsibility

To the extent allowed by law, SwipeClean is provided as is. We are not responsible for deletion choices you confirm, backup or sync behavior outside the app, app store purchase handling, device settings, operating system behavior, or issues caused by denied or limited media permissions.
